What’s New?
WingfieldWorks aims to provide notes on developments in the field of pharmacy law and ethics on a month by month basis. Updates to the What’s New ? postings can be found by clicking on the relevant year under “archives” in the left side bar. The What’s New? postings are also classified into “consultations”, “law news”, “pharmacy news” and “training news” which are collated under “categories” on the left side bar.
The postings cannot be considered exhaustive but are selected according to their relevance to pharmacy practice, NHS community pharmacy contracts and the regulation of the pharmacy profession. Resources trawled include the websites of the Department of Health (DH), the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB), the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee (PSNC) as well as pharmacy journals such as the Pharmaceutical Journal, the Chemist and Druggist, Pharmacy Magazine and the Health Services Journal.
All postings have facilities for replies and commentary which, subject to moderation, will also be posted under the relevant What’s New ? entries. Suggestions for postings, ideally with a short descriptor of the development and an associated website will always be welcome.
